The former mansion of Prince Roland Bonaparte (1896), across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower. A hotel since 2010, with “Palace” status.
The mansion on Avenue d'Iéna was built in 1896 for Prince Roland Bonaparte, Napoleon's grand-nephew, by the architect Ernest Janty. It stands at Iéna, across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower.
Shangri-La Paris opened in December 2010 and was awarded Palace status in 2014. Many of the state rooms are historic monuments, including the grand salon inspired by the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, with golden bees — the emblem of Napoleon I.
Rooms on the Seine side look onto the Eiffel Tower.
For anniversaries, proposals and Paris “with a view of the tower”.
