Naples and Vesuvius, Italy
An 18th-century villa on Ercolano's “Golden Mile”, between Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples, with frescoes and a garden.
Villa Signorini in Ercolano was built in the mid-18th century in the manner of Domenico Antonio Vaccaro. It takes its name from Paolo Signorini, owner of the Cirio company, who bought it in 1911.
The piano nobile has loggias and halls with original 18th-century trompe-l'œil architectural frescoes, like those of the Royal Palace of Portici. The garden borders the palace park: parterres, citrus trees, a fountain with a statue of Leda and two pavilions with majolica domes. Today it hosts events and operates as a hotel.
For trips to Naples and Pompeii/Herculaneum, weddings and photo shoots in historic interiors.
