Lotte New York Palace

A hotel in the 1880s Villard Houses on Madison Avenue, opposite St Patrick's Cathedral.

Lotte New York Palace is a Midtown hotel on the corner of 50th Street and Madison Avenue. It incorporates part of the Villard Houses, built in the 1880s by McKim, Mead & White — New York landmarks listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The three wings form a U around a courtyard; the central one serves as the lobby.

Behind the mansions rises a 51-storey tower from 1980 (Emery Roth & Sons). The hotel has around 900 rooms and suites.
