Transylvania, Romania

Conacul Törzburg

A small manor hotel in Bran with views of Bran Castle (“Dracula's Castle”) from the rooms. An affordable option.

Conacul Törzburg is a small hotel with a restaurant in Bran, about a 5-minute walk from Bran Castle. According to guests and booking sites, the rooms look out onto the castle; there is a garden, a terrace and home-made breakfasts.

Bran Castle was built by the Saxons in 1377; outside Romania it is known as “Dracula's Castle”, though its link to Bram Stoker's novel and Vlad the Impaler is only indirect. Today the castle is a museum.
